We are already underway for 2018! Our handout event for blankets is September 8th, 2018. We meet downtown at 2018 at a selected location (to be determined closer to the date) and start there. Please remember to check out Facebook page and the event found there for more information as it becomes available.
Thanks to our recent blanket donators:
Joe and Carol R.
This year Ayden would like to dedicate and make all blanket donations in the memory of Aaron Dault. May we through Ayden’s compassion and Aaron’s memory create a legacy that “Takes on the World”.
Our 2017 goal of 300 blankets was blown out of the water when we reached over 700 blankets collected. We couldn’t be more prouder then ever to see that happen. However, that has also allowed Ayden to think about what kind of goal he would like to set for 2018…
Our goal for 2018 is 500 blankets!
We couldn’t be able to set goals nor spread warmth without the help of our friends, family and supporters in the community. Our message gets to be spread because of you and your kindness.
As for our 2018 handout, we are thinking September again but we will have more information regarding that at a later time. Remember, we will take new and gently used blankets. This includes: throw blankets, comforters, and sleeping bags. Those are just to name a few. You can contact us here on our Contact Page or over at our Facebook page if you have any questions.
We looked forward to spreading more warmth in 2018.
First, we would like to begin by saying thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout our entire year. We could not have done this without you. We realize our message has reached many different people and has motivated and inspired others. The Ayden Project couldn’t have asked for more. So again, THANK YOU!
Some information regarding our hand out of blankets on Sunday:
“Okay project Warriors…. here it is… Ayden Project 2017 details. Sunday Sept 10 at 10 am meeting at Heartside Park in front of or near the sign. We have approx 300 to 350 blankets to hand out. Volunteers needed…. if you want we can meet up for words of wisdom from our CEO in the making Ayden and talk about where we would like to go for next year. Many exciting things in the works. What you ask? Well, we’ve made a wonderful connection with Community Rebuilders an organization helping homeless Veterans. We’ve got some networking opportunities in Texas, New York and Denver. Time to explore those as well.
Also, Ayden Project gives back….200 blankets to Victims of Hurricane Harvey and Community Rebuilders. Pictures to follow Tuesday.
There are not enough words to thank everyone for their donations, time and encouragement this last year. 708 was are final total! Thank you…THANK YOU!!!!”
Major shout out and thank you to Mutual of Omaha Insurance CO for your donation to the Ayden project! Oh yeah, did I mention from CHINA
We took the time to consider everything that has happened with the hurricanes in the past month and decided we needed to help. We donated 80 blankets to Hurricane Harvey Relief.
“Ayden Project gives back!!! 80 blankets donated to Pine Island Elementary for Hurricane Harvey Victims.”
We can’t wait to get out and spread warmth to Grand Rapids. We hope to see you Sunday!

We also received a donation from China! That’s incredible. A huge thank you to all those who have donated and those who support us each and every day. We’ve also got t-shirts available on Redbubble too!
We are still going strong with donations! We have collected over 600 blankets to pass out later this year for our event. We are scheduled to spread warmth in September. We will have more information and news about this event as we move closer to the date. Please check out our Facebook page for more!
Thank you for all those who have donated and supported us! We couldn’t do it without you!
In 2016 we collected a lot of blankets for those in need. Today we are happy to report that we have collected 548 blankets and we are looking to keep that number growing. We could not do this without all of our donators. Thank you for all your help!
Now we want to congratulate our founder, Ayden for his award tonight. Ayden was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation for doing a Good deed in the community. Ayden gave a short speech before accepting the award.
We also want to thank Rose for the donation money, as well as the 15 blankets donated tonight. We appreciate not only the recognition, but the donation to those in need. We can’t continue to spread warmth to those in need without you. Rose also let Ayden and his aunt Terri know that they will have more blankets to donate soon!
Again, we want to thank all those who have donated or want to join us in the 2017 volunteer hand out event. Please keep those donations coming in!
If you have blankets you would like to donate, please visit our contact page to get in touch as well as our Facebook page!
Well, I am humbled. If anything Ayden and his desire and dream for his “project” has shown me is that the littlest gesture can make a huge impact and touch millions, literally. Tonight we (Ayden and I) had the privilege to meet Capt. David Williams and his wonderful wife Michelle. Again, the people Ayden and I have met, the tears we have witnessed and shared and the thank yous we get are nothing to the Thank yous we would like to share. My car is once again PACKED. Super Shout out to Capt. David Williams, his wife Michelle and American Airlines for your donation and making Aydens day with a genuine Chicago Cubs World Series Pennant from the office girls in Ohare. To the VP of American Airlines Ayden is thrilled with his genuine “Wings” something already in his treasure forever box. In today’s world it is Aydens heart and compassion to be the difference, to be human as he says “we are all just human” is what gives me hope for our tomorrow’s.
Sincerely, Ayden personal chauffer, event coordinator and luckiest Aunt EVER.
When The Ayden Project first started we were thrilled when people donated a few blankets to help us out. Each year that number grew and we couldn’t have been more excited. We gained some exposure this year with the help of a local news station WoodTV 8. Ayden was nervous about being on TV and sharing his story but he didn’t a fantastic job and got to meet several wonderful people handing out blankets in 2016. He learned a great deal and wanted to set a higher goal fro 2017.
We have reached our goal for 2017, 413 blankets so far! In only a few months we have reached it. This is truly amazing and we didn’t expect it to happen so soon! We would like to thanks everyone who donated for 2017 so far (last names have been omitted):
Mort and Jerry
Capt DeWitt and Annette
Capt. David of American Airlines
We wouldn’t have been able to reach our goal so quickly without you. We are still of course accepting blankets. You can send us your donated blankets to the following:
